GARROOD Ann MBE Ann died peacefully at home in Cheadle, Cheshire on June 27th, aged 88. Resident of Pershore 1965-2004, and teacher of English at Alice Otley School 1965-90. Much loved by all her family, her pupils and all for whom she cared. A tireless worker for the church and many charitable causes, she was awarded MBE in 1998 for her work with children in Pershore. Donations to Christian Aid in lieu of flowers.
