WEBBS Garden Centre at Wychbold, near Droitwich is holding its annual Donate, Don’t Dump Day for St Richard’s Hospice.

The family firm is encouraging customers and staff to drop off good quality items at the award winning garden centre on Thursday, September 11, between 10am and 5pm. Donated goods can be taken straight to a collection area in the summer house next to the main entrance at the store. Webbs staff will then deliver the items to the St Richard’s Hospice warehouse where everything will be sorted and taken into the charity’s shops to be sold.

Dan Corns, shops and commercial director for St Richard’s Hospice, said: “We really appreciate the support from Webbs and their customers. We now have 18 St Richard’s Hospice charity shops around the county where we stock pre-loved items and sell them to raise funds towards the hospice’s care of patients and their families. Webbs is offering a simple way for people to be able to help boost these much needed funds.”

Webbs chairman Ed Webb added: "With Autumn around the corner now is a great time to clear out your wardrobe and donate your unwanted items to help such a great cause. We are very glad to be able to help St Richard’s raise funds to carry out their invaluable work in the community.”
