WELL known property professional Bill Fellows has lost his chartered surveyor son to a rival Worcestershire consultancy.

Halls, which is moving its Worcester offices from Foregate Street to King's Court near Worcestershire Royal Hospital, has recruited commercial surveyor Toby Fellows, who has previously worked at GJS Dillon and JWL Fellows Chartered Surveyors.

Halls itself was the result of a merger earlier this year between Halls of Worcester and Jarvie Bedhall in Halesowen and commercial agency lead Duncan Bedhall has since been made managing partner of the merged entity.

Mr Fellows will join Halls' eight-strong commercial agency team. He achieved an honours degree in building surveying at the University of Reading and is undertaking his assessment of professional competence to become fully qualified.

Halls partner Rob Champion said: “The merger demonstrated our ambition to provide our clients with an unrivalled service. Toby will beef up our agency team in the West Midlands while we can also offer property management with a fully resourced service in valuation, rating and landlord and tenant matters.”

Estates Gazette has just judged Halls the most active commercial agent in Worcestershire for the second year running.
