A SPECIALIST in complex wills and estates has joined a county law firm.

Andrew Chandler, an expert in a range of matters including validity of wills and fraud claims, has been appointed to the contentious probate team of mfg Solicitors from the Birmingham office of international practice DAC Beachcroft.

Based between the firm’s offices in Worcester, Kidderminster and Bromsgrove, the 30 year-old expert is the latest face to be added to mfg’s 12-strong litigation division and will work closely with partners Robert Weston and Suzanne Lee dealing with disputed trusts, wills and complex estates matters.

Mr Weston said: “Andrew has built himself a superb reputation in recent years after working on a number of successful, intricate cases. He will be a real asset to mfg in the months and years ahead. He has the qualities required to help us maintain the growth of our contentious probate team and to help us retain our top tier Legal 500 status.”

Mr Chandler added: “At this stage of my career I am delighted to be joining mfg Solicitors and such a respected team of people. I am looking forward to helping our clients across the country to resolve what can be particularly challenging and complex disputes.”

Mr Chandler becomes the second new solicitor to join in mfg’s litigation team in the past six months. In July land and property dispute expert Sarah Coyne re-joined the firm after a 10-year career break. In September partner Robert Weston received a top tier rating in the 2014 Legal 500 guide for his expertise on contentious probate matters.
