A CHILDREN'S charity is £790 better off thanks to the efforts of a Worcester law firm.

Waldrons Solicitors of Sidbury drew up free Wills for a fortnight , asking for a contribution to Daisychain Benevolent Fund, the charity based in College Green which funds groups that work with sick children and young adults.

“We are pleased that we have been able to help support an excellent charity that do so much work across Worcestershire,” said Dawn Cash from Waldrons, who handed over the cheque to Davina Roberts and Greg Rowe of the charity.

“Not only have we been able to help a very worthy cause, but also highlight the importance of making a Will, one of the most important legal documents a person can ever make,” she added.

Greg Rowe, chairman of the board of trustess for Daisychain, said: "This is just fantastic news and a big thank you to everyone that was involved at Waldrons. This is also moving as well as amazing and our gratitude goes to those clients. “
