A SOFTWARE company that started in Worcester 12 years ago has grown to become one of the success stories of Malvern's cyber sector.

borwell, which is now based on Malvern Hills Science Park, recently held an open evening to showcase its revamped office space, showcase demonstrations of its software, cyber and IT expertise and introduce their latest recruits.

Director Steve Borwell-Fox, who founded the company in 2003, said: "The success is due to planning for growth, having a clear vision and employing specialists to the team. borwell has invested in people, training, the office and IT. All of this is to support further growth and innovation.”

borwell currently employs 17 staff and expansion has allowed it to use its expertise in secure software projects to provide bespoke solutions for clients across the county, in many sectors and for defence projects worldwide.

The company sponsors Worcester Warriors rugby player Max Stelling and he one of the main guests at the evening, standing head and shoulders above most others.
