TEN companies which had won their stand as part of a Worcestershire.Business.Central competition were among 100-plus exhibitors at the latest Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce Business Expo.
The group, Luxury Hampers & Gifts Ltd, Bubblicious Soaps, County Medics, The Very Good Translation Company Ltd, Aphex Warehouse Services, The Sunday Girl Company, SewJo, Little Pretties, EDU Gaming CIC and Lisa Dixon Bookkeeping and Management Accounting had all won £250 in marketing support.
Many of the exhibitors at the event on Malvern's Three Counties showground, which attracted more than 800 visitors, had benefitted from one or more of the many business support programmes available through Worcestershire.Business.Central, the region’s growth hub, which helps start-ups, growing businesses, developing skills, finding property, networking or finance.
Cllr Simon Geraghty, Worcestershire County Council cabinet member for economy, skills and infrastructure, said: “The Business Expo was not only a great showcase for the two counties’ success stories, but a demonstration of how Worcestershire.Business.Central, the Chamber of Commerce and Worcestershire LEP are working together to make this county a world class location for business.”
