A VETERINARY practice is expanding its reach by opening a new branch in Worcester.

Wyre Forest Veterinary Centre in Kidderminster has been operating for three years, but now has a sister operation with the opening of Worcester City Veterinary Centre in Lowesmoor Wharf in the centre of the city.

Owner Neil Paveley said: “Following the success of our first site, Wyre Forest Veterinary Centre in Kidderminster, where we have gained more than 3,000 clients, we realised there was an opportunity to provide our services in the Worcester area. We have achieved substantial growth in our Kidderminster practice during the three years we have been open, mainly due to word of mouth recommendations and our focus on providing our clients with a high standard of care at realistic prices, and we believe we have the opportunity to replicate this success with a second practice.

“We identified a suitably sized premises to meet the needs of the business and Lloyds Bank has been fundamental in allowing us to renovate the premises to the high standard we require to provide the best possible service to our patients.”

The new branch has been supported through a £150,000 loan from Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking and Andy Cole, relationship manager at Lloyds Commercial Banking, said: “Worcester City Veterinary Centre is part of a trusted brand and the opening of their practice will provide the local community with the provision of quality care services for its animals. Renting a premises and renovating it has been an important step for the business in fulfilling its expansion plans and we are pleased to have been able to support them in doing so."
