THERE have been three new partner promotions at mfg Solicitors as part of the firm’s long-term growth strategy.

Taxation and trust specialist Gary Priest has been promoted to partner in the private client division. Part of the well-established and expanding tax team, he joined mfg in 2005 building a reputation for his advice across the rural and agricultural business sectors. Based at mfg’s Kidderminster headquarters, the 43-year-old is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.

Residential conveyancing expert Andrew Davies, who joined mfg in 2003, has also become a partner. Head of the residential property division, the 46-year-old is has developed a wide client base advising on all aspects of residential conveyancing, including developers and those purchasing high-value country properties.

Completing the trio of partner promotions is family specialist Katherine Tippetts, who has more than 10 years’ experience in dealing with a diverse number of finance-related matrimonial matters and disputes. Based across the firm’s Kidderminster and Ludlow offices, she is into her fifth year with mfg and has become a regular commentator in the region’s media on key family law issues.

The three promotions are the latest in a string of moves at the 27-partner firm which now employs 140 solicitors and support staff across its five main offices in Worcestershire and Shropshire.
