THE multi-million renovation of the Dormy House near Broadway has been completed with the re-opening of four newly designed suites in the hotel's Danish Court area.

Set on the privately owned 400 acre Farncombe Estate, the 38 roomed property is based around a 17th century farmhouse with the new work "mixing traditional elegance with Scandi chic to create a warm and inviting atmosphere with a tremendous sense of comfort".

Andrew Grahame, chief executive of Farncombe, said: "We are extremely excited about this new development. With help from designers Trevellion Interiors, the new suites and guest rooms have kept their own identity while complimenting the core ambience of the hotel and that unmisable ‘Dormy’ feel’.

"Danish Court guests, as well as enjoying their own secluded outdoor space, will also love the hotel’s cosy nooks and features, the three laid-back stylish lounges and the extensive spa, which has won arm-loads of awards since it opened in February 2014."

The spa's facilities include the Greenhouse lounge with its floor-to-ceiling windows and large outdoor terrace, the nail parlour lined with bottles of Champagne, a 16m infinity pool, outdoor hot tub and the thermal suite. The hotel also has two restaurants the Garden Room and the Potting Shed, which has a more rustic and relaxed feel.
