ADDRESS management provider PCA Predict, the re-named Worcester-based Postcode Anywhere, is in line for two of the UK’s top industry awards.

The Diglis headquartered company has been nominated for the Retails Systems 2015 awards in the technology vendor of the year category and has also been shortlisted in the Digital Entrepreneur Awards 2015 in the software innovation category.

Chief executive Guy Mucklow said: “Changing a well establish and well-loved business name, is never something that you should take lightly. However, in our case, we needed a brand that would both reflect our international growth ambitions as well as the very powerful, predictive capability of our technology, which helps to set us apart from our competitors. I’m delighted that these awards recognise the very valuable role that our new brand plays in ecommerce.”

The Retails Systems Awards were established to celebrate excellence in the retail technology sector and are now in their tenth year. PCA Predict will be competing against some of the biggest names in the technology sector including NetSuite, a global provider of cloud-based business management software.

The Digital Entrepreneur Awards are the only awards of their kind that recognise entrepreneurs from across the country, who have achieved online business excellence.

PCA Predict rebranded in July and as the nominations are listed under the company’s new name, they provide an opportunity for customers, partners and other stakeholders to associate with its continued success. Both awards mark the progress of the company which has risen from a start-up 14 years ago to the 10,000 customer, multi-million pounds turnover entity it is now.

Recent customer acquisitions include quirky American gadget and clothing company ThinkGeek, which is part of the global giant GameStop, and fashion footwear company Dune Group, which has grown from a small concession store to a retail phenomenon that now has 300 stores and concessions in 24 countries around the world.
