MORE than 250 delegates from some of the county's top companies have registered for this autumn's main business conference in Worcestershire.

Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership's #WLEP15 Annual Conference will take place on Friday, November 13 at the Chateau Impney, Droitwich starting at 8am. The host this year is television presenter Mary Rhodes of BBC Midlands Today.

High calibre speakers and experts will offer their contributions through interactive facilitated discussions, presentations and speeches as well as key note speeches delivered by business minister Sajid Javid and Irene Graham, of the Scale-Up Institute and executive director of Business Finance at the British Bankers Association.

Gary Woodman, executive director of Worcestershire LEP, said: “We have already received over 250 registrations in anticipation for the #WLEP15 conference and I would therefore encourage all businesses to register at the earliest opportunity. Attendees at this year’s conference will receive keynote speeches from highly influential business figures, participate using new innovative audience engagement digital platforms as well as gain insight and guidance on business support available in Worcestershire.

“The #WLEP15 Annual Conference will be perfect for local businesses that are keen to hear and shape our vision for the future of Worcestershire’s growth and celebrate the many successes we have seen locally since our last conference. If you are interested in the last few remaining sponsorship opportunities available, please get in touch at the earliest opportunity and we look forward to seeing many Worcestershire businesses at the event.”

The conference is open to delegates from local businesses from all sectors and sizes and other partners. Businesses also have the opportunity to pre-book on to a networking lunch and post-event afternoon seminars.
