A YOUNGSTER'S football club at Leigh Sinton has received some help with its goal line technology.

Leigh and Bransford Badgers FC has been donated a Kombi line marking machine to mark out its seven and nine a side pitches. The success of the club has led it to run six different teams spread over two sites in Powick and the home ground at Leigh Sinton.

This has meant hard work for senior coach and parent Richard Davies with his 20 year old line marking machine, which will only get worse in September when a third pitch has to be used for league fixtures.

With more than 62 years experience in the line marking industry, Fleet Line Markers of Malvern came to the club's assistance when chief executive Iain McGuffie answered the Badger Boys distress signal for an unloved machine that might need a new home when he donated a modern Kombi line marker. This will allow for quicker, more professional marking and in sporting parlance, the young players are "over the moon".
