FOOD-ON-THE-GO-retailer Greggs has remodelled its shop in Worcester High Street, transforming it into one of the business’s new-look outlets.

The new shop aims to provide "a contemporary food-on-the-go experience" with seating and free Wi-Fi for customers who want to enjoy their purchases inside the shop.

Shop manager Sue Glazzard said: “I’m very proud to be managing this new-look shop and the shop team are looking forward to hearing what the local community think.”

Raymond Reynolds, retail director for Greggs, added: “We’re delighted to be able to invest in Worcester and provide our valued customers with a modern and comfortable upgrade to the shop. This underlines our long-term commitment to the area and I’m sure it will be enjoyed by existing and new customers alike.”

The shop will offer savouries and sandwiches, freshly prepared throughout the day, as well as a range of confectionary products. Customers can also enjoy a wide range of hot drinks, including freshly ground coffee which is made with a unique blend of 100 per cent Fairtrade Arabica beans and rich-tasting Robusta beans.
