CLEGG Construction has been awarded a new £4.6 million contract to build a new care home in Worcestershire.

Nottingham based Clegg has been awarded the multi-million contract with Cinnamon Care Capital, to build the Bromsgrove care home, Burcot Grange, providing 56 en-suite bedroom along with a hairdressing salon, coffee shop, reception area and landscaped gardens.

Primarily for residents with dementia, the building will be adjacent to the existing Burcot Grange care home operated by the Cinnamon Care Collection and is set to be completed in autumn 2017.

This follows on from the completion of a new luxury care home in Birstall, Leicestershire, built by Clegg Construction for the same provider.

Clegg was the main design and build contractor on the Birstall project, called Cedar Mews that £5.1m facility also featuring specialist facilities for residents with dementia, with residents just moving in.
