A WORCESTER-based small business specialist is celebrating a successful first year.

TaxAssist Accountants in Carden Street has been providing tax and accountancy advice and services to local businesses for the last 12 months, and now serves around 100 small business clients across the region.

The three-strong team has been boosted with the appointment of apprentice Nicole Band, from Ryall, Upton, who is studying for her association of accounting technicians qualification at Heart of Worcestershire College, and has been with TaxAssist Accountants in Worcester for nine months.

Martin Nicholas, owner of TaxAssist Accountants, said: “The new staff are already proving to be a great addition to the team in the Worcester office which is evident through the extremely positive feedback from clients.

"We are very pleased with the refurbishment on the shop, which includes two offices, a kitchenette, a main office space and reception area.

"We’ve built strong relationships with our clients who visit us frequently, thanks to our friendly and open approach to business.

“The appetite for jargon-free advice specifically for the small business community is growing.

"The past year has seen us go from strength-to-strength, so we’re already looking to hire another member of staff and are happy to welcome new clients in the area including new businesses, sole traders, and limited companies from a range of sectors.”
