Man hunted after four home raids
POLICE are hunting a young man believed to be behind four raids on homes in Evesham High Street between Tuesday night and Wednesday.
He is described as white, aged between 17 and 21, 5ft 8in tall and of medium build with short, light brown hair and clean shaven.
He was wearing a navy blue top with orange and white stripes and dark trousers.
Someone matching this description was seen near two of the incidents and police are not ruling out a link with the third and fourth offences.
"Someone will realise from the detailed descriptions we have received who this person is and will, we hope, act responsibly and identify him to us," said police spokesman Richard Bull.
He was seen near two of the properties - one between 6.45pm and 7.20pm on March 25 when small amounts of cash and cigarettes were taken - and a second between 3pm on March 25 and 7.57am on March 26 when nothing was stolen.
In two other incidents, where no one was seen, a small amount of cash was taken from one address between 10pm on March 25 and 9am on March 26. Nothing is believed to be missing from the fourth address where the premises were entered between 10pm on Tuesday and 6am on Wednesday.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact police on 08457 444 888.
