MARTIN Bloomfield netted a hat-trick as Rangers won the Ambassador League Cup final - scoring his first after a mere 12 seconds.

However, Joey Gisbourne's excellence was needed to deny Colts an equaliser before Badsey made it 2-0 when Bloomfield again finished superbly.

Badsey were now dominant and netted for a third time when Dale Simpson converted Alfie Dawe's centre.

Bredon, though, scored twice prior to half-time but Badsey's two-goal cushion was restored within a minute of the restart when player of the match Bloomfield completed his treble.

The victory was wrapped up a minute from time when Simpson finished smartly with a neat lob to complete an excellent team performance.

Cleeve Colts U-13 2, Badsey Rgrs 2 CLEEVE hit back from 2-1 down for a third successive match between the sides to deny Rangers victory.

The home side opened the scoring three minutes before the break with a speculative shot that deceived goalkeeper Dan Lamb.

There were chances immediately after the restart for Sean Brain, Adriano Ritchie and David Stanley but it needed come magic from James Schembri to finally unlock the defence leaving Brain to find the bottom corner.

The pair combined again six minutes from time when Brain this time found the top corner only for Cleeve to finish strongly and level late on.

Pershore Utd U-10 1, Sheppey Jnrs Swifts 0

SATURDAY'S League Cup final was decided by a solitary goal scored by player of the match Hugh Chapman from Cavan Jason-Ryan's corner.

Defences then dominated and it was Andrew Murphy who lifted the trophy to cap off a super season for the United youngsters.

Evesham Utd U-14- 6, Bidford Jnrs 1

EVESHAM secured the Ambassador League and Cup double with an emphatic win in a game slightly marred by six bookings and a sending-off.

Early nerves were soon settled when Matt Fellows headed in Andy Powell's tenth minute corner.

Powell soon doubled the lead with a well-struck free-kick before Elliot Grady took on two defenders and found the net for 3-0.

Before the end of the half Dan Wilcox made it four but Evesham's engine room of Ivan Masica and Ryan Griffith were being forced to work hard and were well supported in defence by Tom Evans, Pedro Bernardo and Tim DiFranco.

Goalkeeper Leon Ballard did well to block two shots as Bidford pressed forward.

After the break, Grady set up Fellows who lashed home past the keeper before Bidford pulled a goal back only for Masica to conclude the scoring with a shot on the turn after a fine cross from Boycott.

Bidford Jnrs U-10 2, Inkberrow Eagles 1

IN A closely-fought Ambassador Evesham League Plate final Bidford overcame their local rivals at Saturday's Bretforton tournament.

The winners started well and created a number of good chances in the first half but were thwarted by excellent defending.

Mat Burke came close with a great free-kick, while the Eagles were kept at bay by stern defending from Thomas Watson and Toby Lee.

George Mills scored after a break from midfield but Inberrow heads didn't go down. They kept the pressure up in the second half when they finally netted an equaliser.

In a nail-biting final few minutes, both coaches were resigned to a penalty shoot-out until substitute Connor Turbill's mazy run was halted by a mistimed challenge and a penalty was awarded.

Burke stepped up to take the penalty and scored much to the delight of the Bidford supporters and take the trophy.

Broadway Utd U-14 5, Bidford Jnrs 1

BROADWAY sealed runners-up spot in the league table after a comfortable victory in their final match of the season.

The hosts dominated the first half and Charlie Stock was denied by the woodwork before Connor Hensey finally broke the deadlock with a finish from ten yards.

The Bidford goalkeeper produced a string of fine stops to frustrate Broadway who doubled their lead in the second half when Sean Cooke netted a fine individual goal.

It was 3-0 when Stock netted his second before William Wyatt pulled a goal back for the determined visitors who then had the chance to hit back to within one goal but James Bishop saved Ben Cox's penalty.

Late goals from player of the match Dan Francis and skipper Finlay Moore sealed victory to earn United a second place finish.
