VOLUNTEERS from Adlestrop Consulting in Sansome Walk, Worcester, put their best foot forward to raise money for national deafblind charity Sense.
Legal consultant Francesca Weaver and online marketing manager Jade Soer from Adlestrop were joined by friends Laura Truby and Tracy Whiteside, who offered moral support. The team set off at 9.30am in glorious sunshine and in just under three hours reached the finishing line.
Miss Soer said: "It was a fantastic day doing our 11 mile trek for Sense and we just want to thank everybody their support and generosity, we really appreciate it. All money raised will be going towards their wonderful new Touchbase centre being built in Birmingham for deafblind people in the West Midlands.”
The company chose Sense to be its charitable partner for the year and has so far raised £1,125 through various fundraising events.
