ONE of the area's leading family centres has announced a number of new appointments.

The HOPE Family Centre in Bromyard, has welcomed new members of staff following a successful recruitment drive as the facility expands.

The new recruits include: Heidi Mulholland as family support team co-ordinator, who has a foundation degree in health studies and social welfare as well as level five diploma in supervising children and young people’s services; Kayley Seymour, a family support worker with a foundation degree in health & social care with honours in integrated working with children and families; Lou Galloway as contact centre co-ordinator who is currently studying for a foundation degree at Worcester University and has many years' experience in dealing with both families and children, plus Carly Roper, an early years practitioner with a foundation degree in early years who has been involved in early years education for several years, latterly running her own business.

Other new employees include Tanya Burden, family support group worker, Jo Hyde, early years practitioner and Cheryl Balsdon, cleaner.

Sarah Eardley, chief executive of The HOPE Family Centre, said: “We would like to welcome our new team members and wish them well. Ensuring that we remain at the forefront of supporting those in our local community requires us to attract and develop expert personnel. We are delighted with our new recruits, all of whom will add strength and experience to our charity and our ethos.”

The Centre works alongside key partners in order to deliver support on a wide range of early help and intervention. It is open to all families and its services include early years education, adult learning, multi activities for children, parenting advice, toddler groups and speech and language support.
