THE Lawns Nursing Home at Kempsey has won an industry quality award for the second time.

The business two miles south of Worcester has received the Gold Standards Framework Quality Hallmark Award in recognition of its "continual dedication and highest level of care".

Manager Carol Harris said: "We are delighted to have been awarded the Gold Stands Framework Award for end of life care with commendation for the second time. Each award runs for three years so we are now accredited until September 2019. It was very hard work, but well worth it to ensure our residents receive the very best of care in a happy and supportive environment at their end of life.”

The Gold Standards Framework is the UK’s leading provider in training in end of life care for frontline staff.
