A WORCESTERSHIRE timber products manufacturer has appointed a new operations manager.

Stuart Mills has joined M&M Timber to become responsible for the production site at Clows Top near Kidderminster, managing a team of 50 employees.

The role will see Mr Mills organise delivery of timbers, manage the processing plant, saw mills, kiln drying facility, wood treatment plant and biomass plant, and oversee the delivery of finished products from the site to clients.

The Clows Top team currently work a 24 hour shift rota, producing a wide range of timbers for the agricultural, landscaping, play and retail markets.

Mr Mills said: “I am extremely excited to have joined M&M Timber team. I will be looking to further improve the efficiency of the operational process on site and creating a highly professional efficient working environment. Our priority is to deliver our customers with top quality timber products that exploit the latest in timber technology and treatment as well as being highly durable and robust for a long-lasting life. It is fantastic to join such an established business and I look forward to leading the team at the Clows Top site in Worcestershire.”
