AN outdoor production of Babe the Sheep Pig for families will be hosted at Malvern Library on Saturday at 6.30pm.

It will be performed by the touring theatre group Theatreworks, which is based in Malvern.

The troupe is committed to staging fresh adaptions of classic literary works, new writing, and multimedia collaborations, which involve the use of music, dance and puppetry.

Carol Brown, manager of Malvern Library, said: “This will be a really great event for the whole family to come and enjoy.

“The production has already had a successful run at theatres around the country and we are thrilled to be able to bring it to Malvern Library gardens.

“We hope to see a big turnout for this clever adaption of a popular story by a local Malvern theatre company with a national reputation.”
