ROCKERS can whip out the eyeliner, hairspray and leathers as a heavy dose of glam rock arrives in Evesham.

Welsh glam metal legends Tigertailz have taken some time-out from recording their new album to play at the Iron Road on Friday, October 30 as part of a Halloween weekend special.

The band, known mainly for their 80's charting hits Love Bomb Baby and Noise Level Critical, taken from the best selling 1990 Bezerk album, are currently in the studio working on their new full length recording to be released in March 2016.

It will be the band's first full studio album since Thrill Pistol in 2007, when the band sadly lost their founding member and bass player, Pepsi Tate, to pancreatic cancer.

Guitarist, Jay Pepper, said: "The theme for the new songs is going to shock a lot of people. Tigertailz is going back to it's glam rock roots — back to where it all began. Back in time to a period when the UK was the home of the glam rock kings. So people, dig out those flares and glitzy shirts from the attic because we are looking forward to showing Evesham what we've got."

Tigertailz will also be filming three new concept videos over the coming months with upcoming Cardiff Bay video production, company Burning Chariot, before embarking on a full tour of the UK and Europe early in 2016.

Support on the night will come from Wildside Riot, whose singer Rocky Shades may be remembered from his time with Wrathchild.

Tickets cost £8.80 and can be bought by visiting www.ents24.com, with limited availability on the night.

Also coming up at the Iron Road is ACDC UK tomorrow (Saturday) with Doomsday Outlaw, a Meatloaf tribute on October 22 and Voodoo Vegas and the Bad Flowers on October 24.
