THE beauty and passion of Italian opera will fill St Peter and St Paul’s Church in Blockley, this weekend.
The concert, La Dolce Musica V, will take place on Saturday, July 9, from 6pm.
A spokesman said: "Known for its excellent acoustics, Blockley Church will provide a wonderful backdrop for Trio Aria, one of Italy’s highly regarded classical music ensembles.
"Guests will be entertained by the soprano Ilenia Lucci, flautist Rebecca Lewis Lalatta and pianist Carmine Colangeli."
The spokesman added: "Trio Aria has a rich repertoire, featuring arias from some of Italian opera’s best-loved composers; they will take the audience on a musical journey from Puccini to Donizetti, from Vivaldi to Lloyd Webber."
Tickets for the concert are £10 for adults, to include a glass of wine, and £4 for under 18s, available from Blockley Village Shop (01386 701411) or Kathri Lewis (01386 700789).
