TRAINS and the blues rock trio called Heavy Oil seem to go together, and what better spot for a gig than The Iron Road in Evesham?
As though the band members are all power-chord train-spotters at heart, they recently filmed their new video for "Midnight Train" - what else? - in the giant goods shed at the Severn valley railway station in Kidderminster.
Now the Worcestershire-based trio will be getting all streamed up at at the Iron Road on Saturday, September 10, from 9pm.
A spokesman said: "The trio play gritty British original hard rock, crafted into explosive songs and executed with skilled musicianship and improvisation."
Admission for the event is £5 on the door.
