JUDGING by its name, the 2000trees Festival in Festival has enough trees, probably; but now it's making sure it has a row of top names once again, to bring in those music-loving crowds.

Organisers have announced another wave of top acts for the three day celebration of live music.

These include The Front Bottoms, The Wonder Years, Beach Slang, Black Peaks, Gnarwolves and Slotface.

Previously announced co-headliner's include Slaves and Nothing But Thieves.

Festival organiser James Scarlett says: “We had a phenomenal 10th anniversary last year. The atmosphere was so special and the feedback was just incredible, so it was always going to be a tough task to top that, but all our efforts have gone into doing just that and we are unbelievably excited for 2017.

"As a 100% independent festival, we have always sought to maintain the intimate, friendly and fun vibe that sets smaller events apart and we are growing organically with amazing ideas in the pipeline to help 2000trees Festival to really flourish as one of the best small festivals in the UK”

The festival takes place from July 6 to July 9, at Upcote Farm, near Cheltenham, and fans and bands are getting excited.

The Wonder Years said: "We're incredibly excited to be getting back to England so quickly after our recent headliner to do this wonderful festival."

Will Gardner of Black Peaks said: "Without a doubt 2000trees has to be one of our favourite UK festivals. We have had the most unbelievable experiences playing there over the years. It's very, very exciting."

James Alex of Beach Slang said: "The first thing I was ever told about 2000 Trees was that it was started by some friends putting on a festival because they were tired of overpaying for the thing they love—music. And I thought, Yeah! I want to play that."

The Gnarwolves said: "This year we will be playing 2000 trees for the third time. We love coming back to play because the response is always so great.
