IT'S been ten long years since Led Zeppelin reformed for a one off show, and no further re-unions have been announced since then, and no hints are leaving the rumour mill

It was said at the time that a concert by Led Zeppelin could knock the world of its axis.

That didn't actually happen, of course, despite the high notes; but it was probably most anticipated concert ever: holding the world record for the "Highest Demand for Tickets for One Music Concert" as 20 million requests for the reunion show were rendered online.

One million people registered for fewer than 20,000 available tickets. A decade has passed and it looks increasingly like that will be the last time the surviving members will get together onstage ever again.

In the meantime, however, there's always the tribute act, Letz Zep, and they have a date at the Regal in Evesham.

The lead singer is apparently such a dead ringer, Robert Plant thinks he's seeing double.

A spokesman said: "Letz Zep are the Official Number One tribute to Led Zeppelin and Baby They Ain't Foolin'.

"It's an achievement marked by the Authoritative Ticketmaster Organisation, when they awarded Letz Zep with the status of both ‘The Most Popular’ and ‘The Most Highly Rated’ tribute to Led Zeppelin in the UK today."

The spokesman added: "Even legendary Zep frontman Robert Plant commented it was like watching himself onstage, after he came to a Letz Zep concert."

The date for the diary is Friday, September 22.
