Strictly Come Dancing champion Ore Oduba has hinted he could do more than just host the show’s live tour.

The presenter, 31, said that he would like to throw a few moves on the dancefloor as well.

“I would love to reprise a couple of things, put a few steps on there,” he told Good Morning Britain.

“Craig Revel Horwood and I need to have a bit of a chat,” he said of the Strictly judge,  who is also directing the live tour.

The Strictly Come Dancing Live UK Tour kicks off in January, with Bruno Tonioli also judging and more celebrities yet to be announced.

Oduba, whose wife Portia is pregnant with the couple’s first child, said that he was “not at all” jealous of this year’s contestants on the BBC1 show, only “excited” for them.

The contest returns on Saturday night with the first live show of the series.

Fellow former contestant Lesley Joseph admitted: “I feel a little twinge of envy. I loved the training so much… the camaraderie.” Although she added: “I’ve never been so scared in my life”.
