Wretch 32 has revealed he can't wait to tell his grandchildren he performed at the London Olympics.

The Unorthodox rapper, real name Jermaine Scott, is performing at concerts around the UK celebrating the Olympic torch's route as it travels to the games.

Wretch, 27, will join Dizzee Rascal, The Wanted and Mark Ronson at a Hyde Park show in London July 26, the day before the Olympics' opening ceremony.

He said: "I wanted to be involved as much as I possibly could because it's such a big deal... I'm going to be telling my kids and my grandkids I was part of the campaign."

Wretch is currently on tour and his latest single, Hush Little Baby, will be released on May 27.

The star said he works out on stage - and joked that he could easily have been an Olympian, if it wasn't for the sweating.
