RuPaul was joined by celebrities including Katie Price, Jonathan Ross, Jodie Harsh and Sam Faiers as he launched his talent show RuPaul’s Drag Race in the UK.

A host of Britain’s finest drag queens turned out in their biggest wigs and most shocking frocks to celebrate at the launch party in London’s Café de Paris.

RuPaul revealed in an exclusive interview that he is a massive fan of Katie Price because he believes she is a drag queen at heart.

The American drag queen and entertainer said: “I’ve never met Katie Price before, but I’ve seen her on Celebrity Big Brother and I’ve seen her in the newspapers even in America.

“I love a woman who is not ashamed of being a drag queen. She’s very drag. Like our Pamela Anderson or even Latoya Jackson, and so many other woman who aren’t afraid to just go big with it.”

Also at the launch party were former Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts, Duncan James, Craig Revel Horwood and Sinitta.

And RuPaul paid tribute to the Queen of the United Kingdom, hailing her as a style icon.
