It’s every teenager’s worst nightmare – your mum turning up at school and giving you a ticking off in front of your mates.

But for Coronation Street’s Faye Windass (Ellie Leach) that’s only the start of her troubles when mum Anna (Debbie Rush) brings Faye’s baby along with her, because she is concerned she isn’t taking enough responsibility for her child.

Faye, who only just turned 13, is set to go into labour next week in the empty flat above the street’s corner shop, after keeping her pregnancy a secret from her family.

After falling pregnant from a one-night stand at just 12, she is Corrie’s youngest -ever mum, beating Sarah-Louise Platt, played by Tina O’Brien, who was 13 when she found out she was pregnant in 2000.
