DES O'Connor will be coming to Evesham at the end of the month after an operation forced him to reschedule December's planned appearance.

The showbusiness legend was set to appear at Evesham Arts Centre last month but was forced to postpone the show for a minor hospital operation.

But he is back to full health now and has rescheduled to perform at the venue on Saturday, January 31.

Anyone who bought tickets for the postponed Saturday, December 6 show should call the box office on 01386 446944 to transfer their ticket to the new date or get a refund.

Appearing live on stage, it will be a chance to join the legend for an evening of comedy, laughter and music which will be full of Des's trademark wit, style, charm and tales of a life in showbusiness.

Des landed his first television series in the UK in 1963 and since then has established himself as one of the country's best loved entertainers.

He has starred in his own mainstream television show every year since then - longer than anyone, anywhere in the world.

The show begins at 7.30pm and tickets cost £25.
