IF you want to know what Birmingham was like half a century ago and more, head to Droitwich.
The Droitwich ArtsFest has booked the popular Midlands performer, Malcolm Stent,
who will play his guitar and sing but also share stories and anecdotes about his family and the community he lived in "when he grew up in the back streets of Birmingham in the 50’s and 60’s".
ArtsFest organiser, Rhys Jones, said: "Malcolm Stent last performed in Droitwich in 2014 to a sell-out audience. He is one of the best loved performers in the Midlands and I am delighted that he has agreed to be part of Droitwich ArtsFest”.
The performance will takes place at the St Andrew’s Town Hotel on Sunday July 30 at 7pm.
Tickets can be purchased through the ArtsFest website, www.droitwichartsfest.org, or by sending an email to artsfest@droitwichartsnetwork.org
