WORCESTERSHIRE schools could be appearing on TV this week as part of National Healthy Schools Week.
A selection of schools in the county have been chosen to appear on Teachers TV starting on Wednesday.at 4pm.
County schools that have achieved national healthy school status will be appearing on the free view channel 88, giving viewers an insight into how their school is implementing health and wellbeing in their school and the wider community.
Angela Kirton, the county council's healthy lifestyles manager, said: "The Healthy Schools programme plays a very important part in the solution to come of the most challenging health problems our children and young people face today.
"Worcestershire schools have embraced the programme and are therefore demonstrating their commitment to tackle serious issues such as childhood obesity, teenage pregnancy, drugs and alcohol misuse and bullying."
