Evesham Jubilee Society
MEMBERS are reminded that tomorrow night is the society's big night of the year.
It's the presentation evening when all cup and shield winners and members are urged to attend.
As always assistance with the catering and raffle will appreciated - bring something on the night that starts at 8pm at Hampton WMC.
The Centenary Trophy match was well attended with 31 members spread over all three pools at the fishery last Saturday.
Fred Reynolds on Withies peg 11 won the match weighing in 71.8.0 to see off the challenge of Tim Hunt (J39) with 36.12.0, largely helped by a 12lb 8oz carp, and Brian Bennett (J18) with 36.1.0.
Other weights: 4 Chris Taylor (J25) 29.8.0; 5 Gary Seadon (P3); 6 Shaun Sawyer (Withies) 25.12.0.
The final round of the Fishery Spring League takes place on Sunday, draw at 9am.
Evesham and District Disabled AC
FISHING was excellent in the glorious weather with sport coming thick and fast and there were no dry nets.
The eventual winner was new member Pete Willis with 149-0-0 ahead of Wayne Panting (133-0-0) and Clive Leeming (119-0-0).

MEMBERS are reminded that the annual general meeting will take place at the club tomorrow night from 8.30pm.
Rules for the lake and matches will be decided on the night. Fixture lists for the new season will also be handed out.
