EVESHAM'S George Scott and Linda Haines rounded off a packed Bank Holiday weekend by taking medals at the annual Redhill American tournament.
Saturday and Sunday saw the recurve bow archers completing the double FITA round at Lilleshall where Scott recorded an aggregate of 2035 in the national ranking event while Haines amassed 2324.
This was followed by Monday's trip to Wythall where a score of 736 earned Scott the first classification award. Haines made 764 with her 90 arrows to secure the silver goblet.
George's wife Helen, who also completed the three days, registered 1659 and 513 respectively.
The Redhill competition brought another medal for Sarah Trout to add to the indoor season's tally.
The compound bow exponent entered 752 to claim the bronze goblet. Father Ian took the limited compound tankard, while son Dean Burnell was fifth in the single category Mini American for juniors where Sally Gilder finished seventh.
In the team event, Evesham's four of Haines, Scott, Sarah and Ian Trout compiled 2738 - compound scores adjusted - to be seventh overall.
This was also the first leg of the Worcestershire Trophy where handicap adjusted scores come to the fore and fine efforts from Mike Pierce and Mike Gilder ensured that the club made a solid start to the season.
