PEOPLE living in Pershore are being urged to donate generously on Saturday when a street collection will be held in aid of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution the town on Saturday (May 24).
Flag Day organiser Keith Holton said: "In July last year, the people of Pershore and Evesham had ample evidence that the RNLI is not there just for those at sea. They were here for us. Now is the chance to say thank you."
The RNLI is an entirely voluntary organisation with no financial support from either government or lottery funding.
