Village gets new toilet block

BROADWAY has celebrated the opening of a long-awaited toilet block.
Rooftop Housing Group completed the project, which replaces the old toilets, at the village’s new activity park and play area.
The site of the new loos is within the conservation area just off Broadway High Street. The toilet block has been constructed from natural Cotswold stone, with a traditional lime mortar.
David Hannon, development director at Rooftop, said: “I would never have believed one of the most momentous occasions in my housing career would be the opening of a toilet block, in what must be one of the prettiest villages in the UK.”
