A GARAGE, shed and outbuilding were destroyed in an arson attack in Evesham.
Two crews from Evesham and one from Broadway were called just after 4pm on Sunday to the blaze at a currently unoccupied 1930s dormer bungalow just off King’s Road.
When they arrived they found a large shed was on fire.
Western Power and Thames Water were also called as the fire had damaged a power cable and destroyed a water pipe.
A spokesman for Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said they believed the fire was started deliberately.
“The garage, shed and outhouse near the bungalow was destroyed but the quick action of the crews stopped the fire spreading to the bungalow itself,” she said.
Toby Shergold, West Mercia police spokesman, said a 15-year-old girl and a 15- year-old boy, both from Evesham, had been interviewed in connection with the fire.
Last year the house was targeted by metal thieves who ripped off roof lead, tore up floorboards to steal copper pipes and even wrenched off old bath taps.
