Man cut free from car after accident
A MAN was cut from a car when his vehicle ended up in a ditch following a crash near Evesham earlier this afternoon.
The accident between a Ford Transit van and a car took place in Buckle Street, just near the Pebworth crossroads in Honeybourne, at about 12.20pm, leaving the front of the car in a ditch.
Fire crews from Evesham and Pebworth worked with ambulance crews to free the man, who is in his 40s, by removing the roof of the car.
He was complaining of head, neck and chest pains and given oxygen at the scene before being taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
