Snowdrops almost in bloom
VISITORS to Batsford Arboretum will soon be able to see a pretty spread of snowdrops as the weather heads nearer to spring. Snowdrop week starts on Saturday, February 23, when the plants are expected to be at their peak and will be available to buy ‘in the green’ in the Plant Centre.
Staff at the arboretum, near Moreton, are also getting loved up on Valentine's Day and will be giving away a free heart-shaped biscuit with every hot drink from the Garden Terrace Café. For details, call 01386 701441 or visit batsarb.co.uk
