THESE young pupils from Bretforton First School enjoyed getting out of the classroom to take part in pancake races this week.

Pupils Jamie Holloway, aged nine, Lucy Dowdeswell, 10, and Jason Venter, 10, were among those to take it in turns to have a go at the fun competition on Shrove Tuesday before eating the pancakes with their favourite fillings.
