Mickleton solar panels Cotswold District Council

A CONTROVERSIAL plan to place 11,500 solar panels on land in Mickleton has been refused by Cotswold District Council (CDC) planners.

The application at Norton Hall was refused by the planning committee which cited the adverse impact on the landscape and neighbours, as the reasons it would not permit the proposals from MS Power Projects.

Almost 170 letters of objection were sent to CDC with many residents and the parish council firmly opposed to the plans.
