MALVERN Special Families charity is to receive all the money raised by an Evesham business this year.
Basepoint in Evesham announced they had selected the charity, which supports 100 families with children with disability, as its chosen charity for the next financial year.
The charity started 26 years ago when a group of local parents with children with special needs met up for mutual support.
Since then, it has become a registered charity and runs Saturday clubs, youth groups and holiday schemes.
Ian Fenney, Centre Manager for Basepoint Evesham, said: “Malvern Special Families offer a terrific amount of support to families and carers in the local area, which is why we’re delighted to support them.
“We’re currently in talks and planning our fund-raising initiatives for the coming months, so watch this space.”
