A MAN has appeared in court charged with causing the death of an Evesham motorcyclist.
Diana Burgess, aged 40, of Pershore Road, Hampton, died on Tuesday, October 16, when her motorbike was involved in a collision with a car on the A46 between Beckford and Ashton-under- Hill.
The mother-of-three was declared dead at the scene by a doctor from the Air Ambulance. The driver of the car was Steven Moore, aged 42, of Goodeve Park, Bristol.
He was arrested following the collision and charged with causing death by dangerous driving.
He appeared at Worcester Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday and has been referred to Worcester Crown Court where he is due to appear on March 25. He was released on court bail.
