The Journal’s new weekly business page
2:00pm Monday 25th February 2013 in News
Each week we will feature stories about local business investment and information on different ways to access business advice, support, funding and services essential to businesses such as training and high speed broadband. This new feature has been sponsored by Wychavon District Council.
Councillor Paul Middlebrough, the leader of Wychavon, said: “Creating a stronger economy is our number one priority and I believe that local people and businesses are key to achieving this.
“In partnership with the Journal, we will highlight businesses who are investing in the area. At the same time I want to ensure that local people are also aware of the support available to help them to set up in business or if you are already in business to survive and prosper.”
Peter John, Editor of the Journal, said: “We are so fortunate in this area to have many inspirational people who are at the forefront of industries ranging from advanced engineering to horticulture and hospitality to professional services.
“It is time that we celebrate these people and share their experiences and knowledge.
I really welcome this partnership with Wychavon."
