A MUSIC festival lend at Malvern's newest venue raised over £2,000 for Acorns Children's Hospice.
The Mini-Mapp Fest, held at the Re-Con club in Church Street, Great Malvern, featured more than 20 bands, including some of the best-known names on the local music scene, playing for free in support of the cause.
It was organised by Andy Mapp, of Bank Street, North Malvern, who has been holding fundraising gatherings at his home for the last three years.
Admission money, takings from a raffle and a portion of bar proceeds went to the hospice. The artists performed for free and brewers Marstons donated t-shirts which were printed with custom Mapp Fest artwork and sold for the cause.
Mr Mapp said: "It was a fantastic weekend, with an absolutely great atmosphere. We raised over £2,000, which is wonderful."
