Witnesses sought to church theft
POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a theft at a church in Weston Subedge.
The incident happened at the premises on Church Street between 10pm on Sunday, January 13 and 9am on Monday, January 21.
The offender(s) entered the church through a door at the front of the building.
Once inside the building they have attempted to break into a safe in the vestry but were unsuccessful.
As they left they have stolen money from a donations box on the wall. It is unsure exactly how much money was stolen.
Anyone with information that could help the investigation should call police on 101 quoting incident 55 of January 21.
