Donation station proves a charity hit
A DONATION station setup in Evesham for Cancer Research UK has proved a great success with more than 30 bags of goods dropped off.
Dee Andrews, managing director of Managed Offices at De Montfort House in Vale Park, Evesham, offered to have the collection point to allow people to donate items for charity and was delighted with the response.
Nicola Brown, who manages the Cancer Research UK charity shop in Worcester, says it has been a great success.
She said: “I wanted to get it organised over in Evesham because it is a large area and they didn’t have any way to give. We are obviously at the forefront of people’s minds.
“This has gone really well and there is always more coming in. We are hoping to be able to have more donation stations around the town in the future and this one has led a number of businesses to contact us.”
